The first international theater festival of children's and youth amateur groups The “Scandinavian Sandwich” was a great success and left a lot of unforgettable impressions and emotions!
The festival lasted three days, six performances were shown, master classes and competitions were held. We were visited by the children's theater "Kaleidoscope" from England with the play "Casting" and the Latvian Theater of Protest Culture with the play "Quack".
It was a new experience for us, but we did it! It was difficult, but fun and interesting, and most importantly, we made new friends! Many thanks to everyone who helped with the preparation and holding of the festival!
We hope that the festival will become a good tradition and will continue!

Our plans for the autumn season

Harlequin Academy has always been international: our artists speak many languages and have roots in different nationalities.

In the new season, new horizons have opened up before us. The play " The Snow Queen " was invited by the Lyngby community. Let's play in Danish! Like this!

The performance will take place on October 4 at 15:00 at Kulturstedet Lindegården.

This is the first time we have such a premiere! We are very happy and worried of course.

The play “The Snow Queen” is translated into Danish by our actor Alexander Schodt, his command of two languages is amazing, he seems to juggle words and select possible analogues in Danish. We are proud of our translator and our actors!

We are waiting for you at the performance! Detailed information can be viewed:

For those who have never heard of us:

Artistic director of the Theater Academy and teacher Yulia Lustbek.

Julia's acting experience is more than 25 years, and her teaching experience is more than 7 years.

Julia loves the theater very much and dreams of making all the little actors who come to us fall in love with it. The level of the child’s Russian language does not matter.

The second teacher in the lessons is Irina Norberg, who has been involved in theater for more than 10 years. She completed acting courses and the summer school of the Union of Theater Workers. More than 3 years of teaching experience.
